Introduction

Play style is very much like the table top miniatures game Mage Knight by Wizkids, as well as Heroclix, Warhammer, and video games like Disgaea, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars and the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Game Basics

There is so much information out there on how to play PoxNora, it'd be a bit of a waste to re-type the basics here. Always go through the PoxNora Getting Started pages BEFORE worrying about more advanced topics.

Anything Goes (AG)

  • All games played here are Unranked

The Bazaar

  • No games may be played here.
  • The Bazaar is for trade negotiations and chatting - you will see people asking for particular runes and offering particular runes for trade.

Runes and Premium Accounts

Premium Accounts

"Do I Have to get a Premium Account?" No. The premium account gives you three primary benefits:

Purchasing Runes

Obtaining new runes requires them to be purchased, which may be a let down for people without ability to purchase them. However, for people who do want to buy new runes, they can be bought at the store in various packs. One can also buy 10 runes of the latest expansion, which is great for long-time players.

Trading Runes

Trades are done auction style. You create a group of runes you want to auction off, and then set a time frame. Until it expires, people can bid on the group with their runes. (Runes bid with become locked from decks or other trades.) These bids can be accepted or rejected, unlocking (and trading with the accepted bid) the runes involved.

When the time limit expires, the person auctioning the runes has 24 hours to decide which bid he wants to accept. If he doesn't choose one, the offers will expire, unlocking any runes involved.
